The Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia

The Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia is divided into two areas to retrace the transformation of the landscape over the years:
The lower part: where there are 2 Etruscan necropolises, calcarenite quarries and places where hematite is worked, the material from which iron ingots were made.
The upper part: where it is possible to visit the acropolis of Populonia, its buildings and temples, the remains of the huts and the walls of the first Etruscan settlement.
