Gulf of Baratti

The gulf of Baratti is defined by a sandy beach, its waters are shallow and the beach stands out for its golden and amber colors and also for the presence of iron slag (residues from the Etruscan period).
At times there are areas of pine forest, which have maritime and domestic pines, while in the undergrowth there is Mediterranean scrub.
In the central part of the gulf there is an Etruscan necropolis.
